The Greenbank Church Annual Meeting will be held at the Church on January 24, Tuesday at 8:00 p.m The Annual rosin United Church Sunday School Meeting will be held in the church base- ment on the evening of Monday, January 30th, at 7:30 p.m. This is a meeting for not only Committee and Teachers but an open invita- tion for all those concerned with the teachings and care of our children. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Walker and son Gregory, of Owen Sound visited with Paul's grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James Ianson on the weekend. Mrs. Ida Young of Crystal Lake visited with her brother Professor Warren McCready last Friday. The Greenbank Hall Committee held two dances during the holi- day season. Women's Institute will hold their January meeting at the home of Mrs. Velma Foster on Wednesdav, January 18, at 2:00 30, mysteriously re-appeared in front of the store early Saturday January 7. According to store owner Daph- ne Mitchell, an employee arrived for work Saturday morning and was confronted with the cow sit- ting almost in the exact spot where it was stolen from, The cow was wearing a hat on its head and a lei around its neck. A note was attached to the cow saying something about the crea- ture needing a vacation'and leav- ing for a week in Hawaii.
