We were pleased to welcome Betty Cincurak to our meeting, and Betty shared with us her ex-- periences at the Bequia Mission which was started by an Anglican Minister and his wife. Betty's talk was most informa- tive and intriguing, also showing us some of the artifacts which she brought back with her. Ruth and her mother served us lovely refreshments. Meditation by the president, with prayer by Bernice Gardner. Special plans were made for our 50th anniver- sary celebration which is to be held on September 13. Joan Knight was in charge of the program and read us a Valen- tine's poem, as well as Bernice Gardner. Ruth Oliver shared with us a tape by Jill Bricoe, which was titled "Importance of Prayer." Everyone enjoyed refreshments and a cup of tea. Rev. McEntyre's sermon title last Sunday morning was "When We Say: No One is Perfect" choosing as his text Deuteronomy 18, verse 13. Scripture lessons were read by Sharmen Porter and Ron Ashton. The choir sang "The Great Physician."
