22 -- PORT PERRY STAR -- Tuesday, March 7, 1989 Speed demons revealed at Kub Kar derby The Leglon Hall in Port Perry was packed on Sunday afternoon as the finals of the Pine Ridge Kub Kar Derby took place. Winners In the Speed Class were: 1st - Wesley Wood (centre), 2nd '- Shawn Robertson (left) and 3rd Darrell Godin. The finals of the Pine Ridge Kub Kar Derby were held at Port Perry Legion Hall Sunday afternoon and the auditorium was packed with excited participants and spectators.
