Dozens of tables of crafts were set up around the bullding, including many items made by resi- dents and local artisans. There was a cake auction at 2:00, selling the scrumptious crea- tions of many talented ladles. Proceeds from the days sales were going to the residents recreation fund and the hospital building fund. Monday April 24 was a bowling match with Lionel Blaikie being the top scorer with 121 pts. The following day a childrens school choir from St. Leo's Catholic School in Brooklin paid us a visit and sang to us very many delightful beautiful songs. During the evening of Thursday April 27 we had quite a few residents take part in a pub night. Entertain- ment was provided by the 'Golden Slippers." An enjoyable night was had by all. Church services that were given were presented by the Prince Albert United Church (Apr. 25) and by the Greenbank United Church (May 2).
