Presi- dent Bill Harper welcomed everyone and O'Canada was sung, with Edna Beckett at the piano. Mary Cannon read the minutes of the last meeting and Norm Caswell gave the Treasures Report. Both were accepted as read. The Sr's Fall Bazaar is slated for Sept. 30. This year, the Bazaar will open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.. Lunch will be sold. Baking, crafts, plants, etc. will be greatly appreciated. June 14th will be the last Pot Luck Dinner for the summer and it was decided to have salads and desert instead of the hot dishes. Also the King and Queen for this year has been chosen and they will be crowned by the retiring King and Queen at the meeting on June 14, at 2 p.m.. Euchre will be held Sat. 27 at 8 p.m. and Wednesday May 31 at 1:30 p.m. at the hall. Choir practise will now be held on Tuesdays at 10:45. We need more people to go to Geritol Follies on June 22. This is an ex- cellent performance and I'm sure you would enjoy it. If people from outside the Club are interested in this trip, give Jim and Min Mar- tin a call. We'd like to have a full bus. Tickets are on sale for the Stoney Lake Cruise, July 6 and Agawa Canyon Sept. 20-22. The Wintario ticket winners were Gord Prentice, Ruby Bryant, Marion Cawker, Madeline Arnott and Mary Cannon. The meeting closed with Prayer and tea was served. The PPHS vocal group Jazzmerize has enjoyed fine success this year, the highlight of which were two gold and two silver rated performances at the recent Musicfest Canada festival in Toronto. And the group was together again last Wednesday evening performing for a Community Care function at the Town Hall 1873. BY Luella Graham The Port Perry Community Hospital Ladies Auxiliary, was held May 15th with 19 ladies present. The President welcomed all, and opened the meeting with all repeating the auxiliary prayer. he minutes of the last meeting were read and adopted. The treasurer's report was given for the last month. Isabel reported for the gift shop, and said new born baby outfits are very short, but we have lots of nice fall knit- ting available, Isabel also gave the report of the gift shop, in the dbsence of Camille. Bonnie reported 4 girls and 4 boys born in hospital since the last meeting, also the year ending, 80 girls and 60 boys arrived at hospital. She also gave Hazel Coates wool conveners report. Joan Godleys volunteer co- ordinator, thanked her volunteers for their help at the Spring Fair. Muriel Coates, treasurer, gave the report from the Spring Fair also the year end report. Mr. Brown was with us, and reported that the ministry people Mites Anderson Chev Olds vs Seagrave Anderson Chev Olds emerged as the winners in this match-up against Seagrave ending with a score of 9-4. Both teams had a slow start, but showed much improvement as the game progressed. Seagrave caught Chev-Olds standing at the plate several times with some very good pit- ching and a strong defense, assisted by some good hits by Ken, Brennin and a home run by Ryan. Chev Olds was consistent with their hitting as was evident by Amanda Wakeford and Owen St. John. Interesting reports were given by the ladies who had gone to the Spring Conference which was held in Lindsay. The Auxiliary are having a table at the Lion's Club flea market being held. The Annual Hospital Meeting is Hospital Auxiliary meets being held June 21st under new business, this being our annual meeting, a new slate of officers were elected and installed.
