Matthew Rankin, Jamie Britt, Grant Hooker, Amber . Wassink and Steven Nagy all managed to con- nect and get safely home to win the game. Despite Home Hardware hav- ing to field with a few players short, they did extremely well. For H.H., Jon Sanders, Chris Jones and Jody Edwards all had a good night batting 3 for 3. Christopher Medford continues to be strong at bat playing. all 4 games and not being put out. Strong performers for Marlin were Laura Madill who was 2 for 2 with one run scored. Reid McTaggart showed excellent pro- mise scoring Marlin's second run and performing well in the field. High scoring Bruton's I.D.A. vs Anderson Chev Olds The score indicates plenty of hits and some nice walks by both teams as Anderson came up with 16 runs while Bruton's I.D.A. took 11 runs. Plenty of action was seen by both teams as the infield caught many players on base. ; However, 2 homeruns were pro- duced by Mike Morden along with a great hit by Evan for Dennis Anderson. Ian Parliament and Chris were consistent with the bat for Bruton's I.D.A.. This proved to be a pitcher's game for Chev Anderson and Nor- ton Home Improvement ended up on the down side of a 15-5 score. Some of the hits for Norton's were made by Clint, Ronnie and Adam. Maltheb . Farms vs Lishmans with a final score of 16 to 3. Maltheb dominated the game with a grande slam from Peter Bastleman and homeruns from Eric Vetter, Jeremy Malcolm with Mike Carlson bringing in 2 runs on his own, and a double by Keith Waite. Great plays were made by Scott Nesbit, Eric Vet- ter and Ronnie Kelly. Efforts were made by both Missy Verness and Maxine Lines. Pitching came from Peter Bastleman and Nicole Espie with terrific results. Asselstine's Yamaha vs Port Perry Kinsmen with a final score of 8 to 0. Asselstine's Yamaha cleaned .up with Adam Wonnacott striking out 5 batters in 3 innings and Shawn also followed suit with an inning of strike outs. Homeruns were brought in by Scott Goble in the 7th and 3 RBI's in the 4th and with Shawn Lewerentz catching a flyball for a double play. Turners Green Giants vs Blackstock Lioness with a final score of 15 to 14. It was a very close game with Turners Green Giants squeaking by with singles by Brennan Malcolm, Buddy e, Dustin Marnoch, Lloyd Shaddock, Brad Vokins, Melissa Donnelly and Lisa Reid. A triple was made by Scott Swain and a double by Brad Vokins. Great pitching was done by Dustin Marnoch and William Michel.
