Sponsored by the Thompson Vacations and Odyssey Inter- national, the Barley Mow will offer three nights of jovial, live entertainment, genuine British food and four imported British beers. Last year the pub featured only two brands, but because of their success, The Imported Beer Company Ltd. will be in- troducing two more (all four will also be available at festival tent dances). - From the Scottish and New- castle United Kingdom will come Youngers Tartan, a tradi- tional Scottish ale with a smooth, longlasting aftertaste. From the United Kingdom comes John Courage Sparkling Ale, a bright quality ale with a dry, crisp flavour. Double Diamond Ale, a popu- lar session pale ale with a dis- tinctive flavour, will come from the Allied Breweries in the United Kingdom. And new to Canada is McE- wans Lager, which will. come all the way from Scottish and New- castle Breweries. It's hailed as one of the best lagers available. The Imported Beer Co. Ltd.is really excited about McEwans Lager, so make sure to tryitout at the Thompson/Odyssey Bar- leyMow Pub. The two travel companies will be decorating the Latcham Centre to the nines with Great Britian flair, and they've thought of everything. As for entertainment, the Barley Mow will be hopping with three British shows featur- ing a Pearly King on Thursday night July 13. id Berstaff is the Pearly _ King, a rollicking entertainer who will keep the crowd laugh- ing and singing, with the help of "2 ONALD D.
