Everyone, except the many radio announcers that continually tell us what wonderful hot sunny weather we are enjoying, is hop- ing very hard for a much needed rain. On Wednesday evening a shower was held for bride-to-be Bobbi-Ann Fairey of Bowman- ville whose marriage to Mike Brooks takes place at St. John's Anglican Church, Bowmanville on August 26.
