Prince Aidbert and Area News by Peggy Bredin I would like to say that one receives many more phone calls if one is at home. Many thanks to all those people who took time out of their busy schedules to call. I'm sorry to say that Mr. Sproat is in the hospital recovering from surgery. He and his wife have family visiting them from England. Please get well soon. We would like to wish Mary Taylor and John Bardeleben "Happy Anniversary." We're not sure how many years it's been but every year is special. Congratula- tions from Prince Albert. Clayton and Pat Love travelled to Guelph where Clayton attend- ed a seminar on Weed control. While in that area they visited friends Helen and Jim Kairns. Doug and Marylyn Moynes and family returned from a trip down east with a lobster trap on the roof of their car. While visiting fami- ly in Newfoundland, Marylyn decided her nursery school kids should see first hand what a ® * * KH K * 399 Queen St. gtonemoor , 4 Tare geo? lobster trap is like. Now all she needs is a lobster. Sandra Smith went to visit a friend in Edmonton for her first holiday without Don and the girls. It may be her last. Before her plane had even landed her daughter Andrea had fallen at the children's village at Ontario Place and broke her arm. Sandra wasn't informed about the acci- dent until she arrived back home. 'Don had taken care of everything. Andrea's cast comes off this week. She is anxious to get back to playing soccer. Kelly Newman entered a horse. show (-dresshage) at Hoskins Stables in Blackstock. She came in 1st for one competition, and then 4th but overall she was 1st. She was very proud of her horse Chrissy because it was only the 2nd horse show for the horse. Con- gratulations from Prince Albert especially those of us who have never learned how to even sit on a horse. * ®* ®*® * * * A Port Perry, Ont. Litter in Prince Albert Also Dianne Newman reported that her other daughter Tawni an- nounced her engagement to Steve Shepherdson, of Oshawa. The wedding will be next year. Good luck Tawni and Steve. Gerti Wannamaker of Seagrave, Grace Beacock of Port Perry and Grace's sister Mary Devitt of Oshawa ate dinner out at Uxbridge. They do this once a year, to catch up. What a good idea. If anyone has heard from Earlene Armstrong we would like to hear how she is doing. It was Earlene that talked me into doing this job. Or if you have a few minutes I'm sure she would ap- preciate hearing from people in Prince Albert. Her address is Mrs. Earlene Armstrong, R.R. 1 Campbellford Ontario, KOL 1LO0. Barb and Ron Mclntyre's Christmas list is getting longer. Barb's son Mike and his wife Dorothy had a baby recently. Congratulations from all of us. I walked out to Manchester to get my car yesterday. I learned that many more Coke drinkers than Pepsi drinkers throw their pop cans away. What a beautiful country we live in if only you can _ overlook the litter along the roadways. I'll be home all week studying, if you have any news please call.
