Local family returns from Europe Welcome home to Peter and Lammy Van Ginhoven who have been holidaying with family in Holland. While there they took a trip to Austria, Italy, Germany, & Switzerland. They had wonderful weather - just rain one day. They arrived home on Tuesday to enjoy our beautiful Indian Summer. On Thursday evening there were twelve tables of euchre. The winners for the ladies: Rita Storie, Earla Hill, Bernice Daniels. Men: Alvin Spencer, Pat Norton, Frank Andrews. Lucky Draws: Owen Gray, Bert Daniels, Merv Storie. Lone hand series: Erma Watson with 13 lone hands for the month. Rev. Bob and Jan LePage & family travelled to Wawa to visit with his parents on the weekend. Mr. LePage has not been in the best of health. Rev. John Brown took the services at Port Perry and Prince Albert. Prince Albert. United Church has been requested to donate gifts of non-perishable food to Opera- tion Scugog during the month of November. There will be a box in the entrance. On Wednesday evenings at 6 p.m. intermediate orchestra practice. Come along if you are studying music at school. Then at 7 p.m. intermediate and senior choir practice.
