Utica ham supper Friday Mr. Roy Wilson of Cobden visited with Mr. and Mrs. Earl Wilson on Monday. Roy also visited with his sister Ruby who left for Florida on Wednesday. Garry Evans will speak at Ep- som Church at 11:15 on Sunday while Rev. Waterman takes the youth group to Cedar Glenn. Our sick neighbours are all making speedy recovery. Sympathy to Elizabeth and Earl Taylor and family in the passing of her aunt at Septre Manor. There was a good turn out of UCW members, when we met at Uxbridge Care Centre last Tues. evening. Remember the scalloped potato and ham supper with pie for dessert this Friday in Memory Hall, Utica. Trip - Square Boy Pizza. Grade 1 and 2 class at Epsom enjoyed a trip to Square Boy Pizza in Port Perry. The class has been learn- ing about the four food groups and discovered Pizza uses all four food groups also they were given a "Square Boy" recipe and made their own pizza from start to finish. By the smile on their faces you could tell that the recipe was a success. WORK CHRISTMAS MAGIC WITH Primary students from Epsom and Greenbank were treated to a 45 minute play which starred Elmer the Safety Elephant. A two member safety team taught the children the fundamentals of road safety in an attractive and ex- citing way. Volunteers from the audience helped to enact various traffic situations, including Elmer's seven safety rules. This great learning experience was en- joyed by all. Floot hockey is well under way at Epsom P.S. This year the children are playing outside and enjoying their brand new nets. There are five teams in the league and the 'Canadians' are current- ly in first place. Good luck to all in the playoffs! Cross Country Epsom - Con- gratulations to all the members of Epsom Cross Country team. The 8 year old girls and 9 year old boys teams placed first at the Durham Central Meet. They also put forth an excellent effort at Durham Finals.
