Joe Piccione ap- proached the vehicles, they sped south on Highway 12. The vehicles reached speeds of up to 140 Km/hr until the Honda went out of control at Myrtle and flipped over, trap- ping three occupants inside. Police said the maroon van turned and sped off in the oppo- site direction. Firefighters from Port Perry had to be called to the scene to free the three trapped in the Honda. All three were taken to hos- pital for treatment of their inju- ries, and the driver remains in Oshawa General in serious con- dition. An OPP spokesman said the keys from the maroon col- oured van and a purse contain- ing a sum of money had been re- ported stolen just before mid- night from a home on Allen St. in Port Perry.
