As I wasn't there for this game I can only give you scoring. Scor- ing goals were Jeremy Geer, Daryl Bourgeois and Brent Harper with 2 each Mike Labanovich and Sandy Mark 1 each, and Ian McCready an unassisted goal. Assists went to Jeremy Geer 4, Daryl Bourgeois 3, Jason Phillips, Brent Harper and Rick Olaisen 2 each. Sandy Mark and Ian McCready 1 each. On Saturday December 2 we were off to the Omemee Tournament. i Our first game was'aginst Lind- say. Lindsay opened the scoring but Port came back on a wicked shot from the blue line by Andrew Jones to Jeremy Geer and a deflection by Brent Harper into the net. Port went ahead 2-1 as we saw some good passing from Daryl Bourgeois and Jeremy Geer to Jason Reid who blasted it from the blue line into the net. Our insurance goal (shorthand- ed I might add) came from some good forechecking on the part of Brent Harper and Ian Shrigley, a behind the net play and Jeremy Geer slipping the puck in the net. Our second game was against a very strong league rival team - Millbrook. Once again we had to come from behind. Millbrook was ahead 2-0 when Ian McCready's shot from the blue line was deflected in by Daryl Bourgeois putting us on the board. Daryl then teamed up with Jeremy Geer around the net to it to Brent Harper who one-timed it into the net to tie the game up. Unfor- tunately Millbrook scored again eliminating Port from the. tournament. It was noticed in these two . games that some of the coaches hard lessons during practices seem to be paying off in game play. Way to go coaches! Port plays in Bowmanville Saturday and Omemee on Sunday. : SORRY!
