Award life memberships The Honeydale Women's In- stitute met on Monday, December 4, at St. John's Presbyterian Church. Following a delicious pot- luck luncheon, the members answered the Roll Call with a gift for "Operation Scugog'" Com- munity Care. Donations will be sent to the Hospital Auxiliary and to help pay for 'Recycling buttons," also . Christmas gifts will be 'sent to shut-in members. The next In- stitute meeting will be on Mon- day; Jan. 8, 1990. The highlight of the meeting was the presentations of 4-Life Membership Certificates and singing of "O 'Canada." Pins. These were presented to the following members by their daughters: Margaret Cornish, Edna Wilson, Grace Bassant, & Jean Carnochan.
