.. The Scugog Shores Museum has recently acquired this old time threshing machine. It's a "favorite" model, made mostly from wood except for the wheels which are steel. And It was made by Ernst Brothers of Mount Forest. Museum officials believe the machine was built in 1937, as the number 4837 is marked on the front. The machine arrived at the Mu- seum two weeks ago, and will go into storage for the winter. Museum staff say Ri will be operating and on display for the Fall Harvest Weekend next year.-Museum staff extend their thanks to Van Camp Construction for use of the truck to transport the thresher, and to the driver who donated his time.
