Congratulations to Tanya Wilson, Aaron Combdew, Katie Fockler, Anna Evans who per- formed a drama presentation en- titled, "Sick" at the Oral Language Festival at the S.A. Cawker school in Port Perry. Robert and Patricia Orman of Uxbridge had lunch on Sunday with Betty and Norm Tapscott. Last Friday evening a number of friends enjoyed an evening out at the home of Tom and Leona Armstrong when Leona hosted a "Aloette' party. So nice to meet friendly new neighbours. On Monday Bill and Deanna Anderson, Lisa and David of Oakwood visited Faye and Keith Ashton. Our sympathy to the relatives of Evaleen Catherwood who pass- ed away on Sunday at Uxbridge Hospital. Jerrold and Joan Asling return- ed from a trip to Haite. They ex- perienced the insurrection there and were not free always to move about as they wished. They visited Mom and Dad Asling on Saturday. Ruth Ashton had a busy week. Barry Bushell called on Wednes- day, also on Wed., Robert and Jamie had lunch with Grandma. On Sunday, Ken and Beth Cather- wood visited Grace Evans and Lois Elford and Marie Wilson visited Dorothy Petty of Victoria Square last Saturday afternoon. Ruth and Elmer Wilson visited Rupert and Eileen Lee one day last week. Paul and Shirley Baster have returned from a visit to sunny California. Julia Baster and Cathy Harrott spent the weekend together. Sun- day evening was a birthday par- ty and Christmas fun all rolled in- to one at Epsom church when Steve Hepburn moved in with his magic, slight of hand. The children were so excited with the Benny and balloons and helping Steve. It really was a magic hour. Then the huge birthday cake with fruit juice, of course - coffee for the adults.
