In a statement released last week, the Board said that pending "successful negotia- tions for a temporary facility," the school could open this Sep- tember for Jr. Kindergarten to grade five students. The name of the communi- ty where the proposed tempo- rary facility might be located was not disclosed by the Board. A survey of parents in Brock Township indicates 90 students in the Jr. K. to grade 6 age range, and up to 147 for a full school to grade 8. Additional grades would be added to reach full enrolment in 1993. Brock students who wish to attend Catholic school are now bused outside their communi- ties. The Board said the tempo- rary school would be made up of portables, and an application will be made to the provincial education ministry for funds to construct a permanent school. OMB appoints new Chairman The Ontario Municipal Board has a new chairman. The provincial government has appointed John P. Kruger to the seat, effective March 19. Mr. Kruger replaces H. E.
