A great time was had by all. Happy birthday wishes go out to Judy Phinney who celebrated a birthday last Saturday night. Some little birdy told me her age but I don't believe them, I watch- ed Judy win a hoola-hoop contest. She demonstrated that life begins at 40. Ask Hughie Johnston. Judy out-did him for the honours for the swingingest hips in town. Later, Don, Judy's husband, brought on a huge birthday cake that was shared by all. Don't forget that Wednesday is U.C.W. night. Audrey Courtney is talking about "Literacy." Everyone is welcome. Also mark on your calendar that April 21 is swim night at the Lindsay Sports Complex. There is TTR. It was great to see the little ones involv- ed in the church service. Commu- nion was also served. The choir really out-did themselves with the anthem. Thanks from all of us. It was great to see Myrtle Snelgrove back from Florida. She spent a few days with Grant & Eva Hunter. Myrtle assisted Dar- ryl with the music. She tells us that next Sunday will even be bet- ter. Come out and see. Did you find children seemed more excited and some were very tired? I think it was the time change. My Sunday School class are anxiously awaiting the Easter Bunny. The Baha'i Faith is the religion of the followers of Baha'u'llah (Arabic for "The Glory of God"). It is the youngest of the world's religions, beginning in 1844, now established worldwide, including in Scugog. Baha'i literature has been translated into more than 670 different languages. Although it began in a Muslim country, Iran, the Baha'i Faith is as distinct from Islam as Christianity is from Judaism. Why do we advertise? .. to share the healing message in the Baha'i teachings at this critical time in history. Having no building in Scugog or clergy, we use the various forms of media to offer this gift. This brings up the impor- tance of knowing what to do when death occurs far from home or when death occurs locally but interment is to be made at a distant point. To the funeral director, these circumstances present no difficulties, for he can make arrangements anywhere in the world. If you should ever be confronted with this situation, remember that the only thing you need to do is call the funeral director that you know in your home town and he will do the rest. : PLEASE DIRECT ANY.
