'My Ministry supports groups that promote safe, recreational activities for its members," Mr. Black said. 'The end result will be safer trails and a more enjoyable experience for snowmobilers in the Port Perry area.' The Ontario Ministry of Tourism and Recreation will con- tribute $26,487 to improve snowmobile trails in the Port Perry area. Minister Ken Black announced the Participation Development grant for the Port Perry Snowmobile Club April 20th. The funds will be used to buy new trail grooming equipment to maintain 200 km of new and ex- isting trails to meet increased user demand. The Junior Agriculturalist Program has been running for 19 years and it has proven beneficial to both the participating farmers and students. The program starts June 25 and runs to August 17.
