Totten Sims Hubicki Associates has been retained by the Region of Durham to conduct a study on the Sanitary Sewers in the Township of Uxbridge. The smoke testing is being done by Totten Sims Hubicki Associates, and CAMSPEC sewer services. A special non-toxic SMOKE will be blown into the sanitary sewers to detect locations where storm water is entering the sanitary sewer system. The SMOKE is manufactured for this purpose, leaves no residuals or stains and has no effect on plant or animal life. The SMOKE will not enter your home unless a leak is present. The Port Perry Tennis Club is holding it's Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Tuesday, May 8'th at the Masonic Hall. This is your opportunity to obtain a membership, get information on upcoming tournaments and sign up for league play and/or lessons. If you are unable to make it to the AGM then you can sign up at the courts May 9'th or 10'th, 6-8 p.m. The Club is insisting that if you wish to sign up for lessons then do so in person only, not by mail.
