HLT. Bal Ll a 2 14 -- PORT PERRY STAR -- Tuesday, May 8, 1990 Rotary Artfest '90 a hu After months of preparation, members of the local Rotary Club brought Artfest '90 to Port Perry last weekend. Rotary officials report that the two day event was an overwhelming success, with more than 1,200 people attending. Over 60 artists were represented at the show, displaying a great variety of art in various mediums. Most artists were very pleased with Artfest '90, selling many pieces of their work. Rave revues were heard at the Artfest Dinner/Auction held on Saturday evening, where twenty two pieces of art were sold in the live auction, with profits far exceeding anticipated estimates. Due to the tremendous response, both from the artists and the public, Rotary Club officials are already planning for Artfest '91. Over sixty talented artists exhibited their works at Port Perry Rotary Club Artfest '90 held last weekend.
