We wish her a speedy recovery, Jerrold Asling was visiting his mother and father last Saturday and Sunday. His wife Joan ac- companied her mother and two sisters on a trip to England. Shirley and Paul Baster con- ducted a very nice church service on Sunday. On Sunday Archie and Jenny Watson had dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Fred Watson of Scarborough. On Monday, Mr. and Mrs. Ron Watson and son, visited with his parents. Next Sunday, May 27, will be Seagrave Anniversary so services at Green- bank and Pinedale are cancelled. Mr. Warren McCready visited with his sister, Mrs. Jean Kratz and family at Westport New York last week. While there, he attend- ed Graduation exercises for his 'neice, Laura Kratz who graduatea from Newport Naval Academy Prep School. On Sun- day we went to see the tulip display around Dows Lake in Ot- tawa, which were quite lovely in- spite of the dull weather and maybe being a week to late. The May meeting of the Womens Institute was held at the home of Mrs. Shirley Lee on Wednesday evening, May 16. Roll Call; Bring a momento of your mothers and give a brief history of it and this was answered by 14 ladies. President, Margaret Couperthwaite con- ducted the business meeting. District Annual will be Thursday May 24, registration 9 o'clock in the Presbyterian Church Port Perry. A committee was put in to assemble the booth for Port Perry Fair. There was a beautiful wedding at our Epsom Church on Saturday when Cindy Patton of Uxbridge was united in marriage with Ray Jobin of Scugog. The minister from Zephyr conducted the ser- vice.
