Step into the 90's' theme for Brooklin Spring Fair This year's theme for the 70th - Annual Brooklin Spring Fair is "Step into the 90's." The presi- dent, Carol VanHemmen, welcomes all visitors to the Fair and hopes that everyone enjoys it as much as the directors have creating it. The Fair will be officially open- ed Thursday, May 31st at 7:30 p.m. with the Miss Brooklin Spring Fair pageant. New attrac- tions for this year include a Demolition Derby on Friday night at 8:00 p.m. and Dog Races begin- ning at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 2. The popular Truck and Tractor Pull will be held on Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. The Parade will be underway at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday morning. Among the many events are: the Kiddie Tractor Pull, the Baby Show, a Crayola Crayon Colour- ing Contest and a Fiddlers and Stepdancers Contest. The mid- way, petting zoo, agricultural shows and homecraft exhibits are also popular areas to visit.
