Becky Evans took second place in long jump, qualifying er for the finals. At the Dur- ham Finals she took fourth place. Kimberley Coates did well at the area meet, taking first place in the 1500 metre, and third in the 400m. At the Dur- ham Finals she took fifth in the 1500m. Kelly Plain brought home three ribbons from the area meet. Kelly placed second in long jump, fourth in the 200m, and fifth in relay. Melinda Delorme finished in second place at the area meet, in the shot put event.
