Last Tuesday evening the club held a private viewing of wildfowl carvings created by members who had just recently competed in the Toronto held in Ocean City, Maryland. All carvings on display were award winning entries at one or more of the shows. John Carnwith's "Surfscoter" took the top prize in the Decorative Lifesize Floating Waterfowl in the Intermediate Species division recently at the World Championships. The champlonships were held In April in Ocean City, Maryland. Ray Webster also claimed a first place ribbon. at the world's with his entry in the Decorative Lifesize Floating waterfowl! division.
