Myrtle news Pie and art sale June 30 by Sonja Graham Just a reminder for those of you who will be around for the long weekend, don't forget the Myrtle United Church Pie and Art Sale. Many of us were saddened by the news of the recent passing of Maudie Graham. The previous proprieter of the Balsam General Store for 34 years, was well known and loved by many people in the area. After selling the store to the Jones', she retired to the town of Port Perry. Sympathy is extended to her six children, Bill, Dorothy Gibson, Joan Fleming, Diane Parliament, Debra Costa, Linda Dignam and their families. She leaves behind 19 grand- children and 12 great- grandchildren.
