The Environmental Youth Corps (EYC) under the supervi- sion of Melissa Kahn have been working in Caesarea, View Lake, and Port Perry for the ll last couple of weeks. They'be been cleaning up garbage, trimming, cutting, raking, and generally sprucing up these areas. A big part of their job has been along the lakefront and causeway in Port Perry, raking lake weeds from the shoreline. And another part of the job has been to set up re-cycling bins in the parks, and to moni- tor the growth of newly planted trees and shrubs on public lands. Although hired by the Township, a Provincial grant covers their $6 per hour wage and pays for leasing a half-ton truck. They started July 3 and the program will continue through to August 23. : Robert Tobin, son of Frank and 'Diane Tobin graduated from Durham College, June 9, 1990 with -a diploma in Sports Administra- .tion. HOW DOES READERSHIP INCREASE AS YOU INCREASE THE SIZE OF THE AD? | Increasing the size of an ad increases reader- ship dramatically. Above 36 column inches, the increase in readership flattens out, as there are 'fewer potential readers left to add (you've al- ready grabbed the attention of most readers with this size ad). The readers added by a large attention compelling size ad are more apt to be v new prospects rather than current customers. PRINCE ALBERT UNITED CHURCH " Rev. D. Robert J. LePage, B.A. M. Div. Rev.
