The zoo, located at the corner of Taunton Road and Highway 36/115 in Orono, gives visitors a "hands on", up close view of the large variety of animals. Except for some of the exotic large cats, most of the animals run free in the 15 acre santu- Besides the lions, leopards, panthers, bobcats, siberian ti- rs, cougars, jaguars, and ynx, the zoo also features deer, monkeys, and fowl. Now in its fifth season, own- ers Wolf and Chris Klose opened Jungle Cat World as a home for their pet lion Pasha. Pasha's sanctuary was even- tually transformed into a zoo with more and more animals in- corporated into the setting.
