It did not mention the hundreds of millions of dollars wasted on bilingualism, the thousands paid to corpora- tions to print French before English on the labels of the packaging, the thousands paid to French schools out West while farmers in Saskatchewan have lost their farms and homes and Mulroney continues to waste millions of dollars to make Canada French. Nothing was mentioned of the money paid to Bourassa each time he squawks and the millions given to any country who will take it and never have to pay it back. One glance at this flyer is enough to make anyone see why we pay so much tax and how it is wasted. Just how much is paid to the women in Quebec to have more babies is anyone's guess. This is an English speaking coun- try, does not need two languages and should be confined to Quebec where it belongs! When in office, Trudeau made the remark that the average Canadian was an idiot. The pre- sent Government thinks we're all pretty stupid. Mulroney portrays himself as a man for all Cana- dians and he is the biggest traitor this country has seen. A Long Live Quebec! and to hell with the rest of the country, he is small, gutless and arrogant who enjoys displaying his smug looking face on the TV screen. I read that Mila Mulroney has 14 secretaries. If this is true, we don't see her tightening her belt. The new tax system was designed to pay more tax and the deficit will be used to keep digging deeper. The Senate has become a retire- ment home for the wealthy who want to take early retirement would like to invite customers to view their NEW ~ LARGE is in serious trouble with a fat salary and little work while the majority of MP's end up being hand-fed puppets and train- ed seals afraid to speak out against anything for fear of losing their jobs in this so-called democratic country. They will write off a large portion of their tax on their expense account which we will pay for them. Notice how well they all look! It says little for a PM to refer to our native Indians as warriors and prefer a French country above anything else. He wants us to look after the poor with food banks 12 months of the year. He is an actor, a George Bush/Ronald Reagan one minute, a Margaret Thatcher the next, and then look emotional. What a phony! All those rich people in Ottawa just love to rub each other's noses at our expense who use us lowly taxpayers to further their lifestyle. If anyone cares to con- tradict any of the above, they can do so, but it won't change my thoughts on it. H. Zoller, Port Perry Inconsiderate drivers From Page 8 need to be retested at the Driver Examination Centre to see if you really are worthy of a license. Personally I don't think that you should be out there endangering everyone's life -- a lot of us have small children as well. Another bone of contention that I wish to discuss happened to me at the Sears parking lot last Tues- day. There was a truck in front of me heading out onto 7A west. So- meone from the west side of the - parking lot decided to get out on- to 7A as well. Now, there was on- ly the two of us and then you could have gotten in behind me, but no, what do you do, Inconsiderate? You Cut Me Off! What kind of idiots are they letting in behind the wheel of the cars these days? Surely you could wait for just one car without cutting someone off!! The next time you Incon- siderates are out on the roads, Think. There are many innocent and good drivers that need to be considered out there as well; many of us also have small children. The next time someone pulls one of these stunts in my presence, I am going to record your car licence number and report you to the police. You have no right to be out on the roads if this is how you drive!!! Cindy Jackson, Seagrave, Ontario Finally, signs changed To the Editor: At least 7 years ago I started a one man campaign to have two highway signs designating the direction of Highway 57 in the Caesarea area changed to what I called the proper location. One was erected east of Hiawatha Ave. for west bound traffic and the other was north of the 6th Line for south bound traf- fic (Vine's Corners). These signs were a - 57 with a right angle ar- row. I could see an accident oc- curring more prevalently at the Vine's Corner with a person with a trailer, stopping suddenly when he saw the dirt road and part of his trailer remaining out on Hwy. 57. At the same time 2 cars travelling in opposite directions on Hwy. 57. Bang! You've got the picture. My thoughts were reported to the following councillors - L. Malcolm, Mr. Graham, John Wolters, Glenn Malcolm and Mayor Hall during their time.on. council. One councillor reportéd back that they erected a no exit sign on the reverse side of the stop sign. On September 6, 1990, I took pic- tures of the 2 locations and when the film was used up, I planned my next step in this matter. This week I noticed they were relocated. Whatever changed the big boss's mind, I don't know, but I am truly thankful on this Thanksgiving Day. Yours truly, Albert E. Putsey, Caesarea, Ont.
