Tuesday, October 9, we had many residents taking part in a craft session. The following day we had Octoberfest. The residents certainly enjoyed the beer, nuts and music. October 11 we featured our annual Thanksgiving Dinner for all our family and friends. A fairly large crowd in at- tendance had a delicious resident- prepared turkey dinner and relaxed to the delightful music supplied by Claire Whitter. The week ended with a choice of a baking activity or a game of bingo. Another week began with a bowling match on Monday Oe- tober 15th. Top scorer was L. Blaikie with 112 pts.. The next day we were pleased to be presented with entertainment by Mr. Ivan Barrett from Seagrave. His organ playing was simply delightful. Wednesday afternoon a bus load of residents went out for a bus tour of the leaves. Even though most of the leaves were down we still enjoyed the many nice colours. The following 2 days we kept the residents busy with crafts, baking and bingo. Birthday wishes are extended to Mrs. Louella Short (November 5). Upcoming events include Residents Council Meeting (24), Monthly Birthday Party - 6:30 (25), Pumpkin Decorating Con- test (26), Halloween Party - 7 p.m. (30), and Halloween Hand-out - 6:30 (31).
