Waterman's last Sunday with us. The sacrament of the Lord's Sup- per will be celebrated. On November 4 at 11 a.m. the annual anniversary service will be held in Epsom Church with Rev. Newton Reed as guest speaker. Anyone wanting a church calen- dar please get in touch with Nan- cy Skelding this week as the orders must be placed right away. This coming Friday there will be a Halloween party at Epsom Church starting at 7 p.m. All children are invited. Parents please supply finger food. Also on Friday don't forget the regular euchre party to be held in Utica Hall starting at 8 p.m. The Utica Community Day Care are having a professional photographer come and take family portraits on Friday, Oc- tober 26 from 6:30 - 9:30 p.m. These would make excellent Christmas gifts. Please call and book a time with Kim at the Day Care 985-8783. Lorne & Eileen Slute returned home this past week from a two week tour, visiting Switzerlana and Austria. Word was received on Wednes- day of the passing of Harold Brown of Binscarth, Manitoba. Uncle Harold was raised in this area and I would just like to pass this message on to all those who were his friends and grew up with him. Funeral services were held on Saturday. Gordon & Grace Kirk enjoyed a trip recently when they flew from Toronto to Calgary where they rented a car and drove to Edmon- ton for two days before driving back to Calgary. They then flew to Vancouver and drove to Chilliwack where they visited for a few days with a brother Harold and Mrs. Kirk, then flying back to Toronto. After a week's rest they are on the go once again, driving to Haileybury to spend a few days visiting with old friends.
