Pineridge Tweens Welcome to another exciting Ringette Season. The Tween B's played their first league game on Sunday against Woodville. Although we ~_ lost 7-1, the team came off the ice with a positive attitude about do- ing better next time. Scoring for Port was Joan Anderson assisted by Jenna Norton. Jon Jamieson led the scoring for La Rocque with 3 goals and 2 assists. His brother Jeff, scored 2 goals and added 4 assists. Darryl Moase added a hat trick scoring 3. Assists also went to Scott Swain and Jeff Whitfield. Scoring one goal each for Con- sumers was Matt Brown, Jason Brown, Ryan Larmer and Steven Hiemstra. Blake Gaudet added an assist. Floor Hockey On Monday night, Oct. 15, the senior boys floor hockey (ages 12-14). played an excellent game, the Red team outscoring the yellow team 6-4. The first period ended 2-2 with Mike Wheels and Kris Holland scoring for the Reds and Jamie Irvine. Blasting in both goals for the Yellow squad. In the second period, Kris Holland and Stewart Bruce pac- ed the Reds with Dave Versheren replying for the Yellow team. End of second period, Reds 4, Yellow 3 In the 3rd period, Chad Mitchel opened the scoring with Kris Holland notching the hat trick. Dennis Goodman replied for the yellow team making the final score Reds 6, Yellows 4. There was excellent goaltending at both ends. Good passing plays and few penalties called by referee Doug Suppelsa. There are still a few openings in this group. If any boy age 12-14 wants an hour of fun on Monday nights 8-9 p.m., contact the YM- CA 985-2824 for registration. Junior Results The YMCA Junior Floor Hockey is off to a good start again this season. This year's teams consist of the Red Wings, coach- ed by Bryan Youmans, and the Golden Hawks, coached by Terry Halward. The two teams met for their first official game of the season on Monday, Oct. 15 at R.H. Cornish P.S.. They played a scoreless first . period, with both teams sizing up the competition. The second period saw the Red Wings pull in front with 4 goals to the Golden Hawks' one. Red Wing scores were Trevor Lance, Jeff Kane, Michael Wiseman, and Anthony Beauchamp. Matthew Mac- Master scored the lone Golden Hawks' goals. The third period brought 2 more goals for the Red Wings, both scored by Joey Drebit. This brought the final score to 6-1 for the Red Wings. We wish both the Red Wings and the Golden Hawks a good season of floor Hockey! Tripp Realty wins 6-1 The pace of this game was fast from the opening face off. The scoring got started at 13:36 by Tripp in the first period by Heather Tredway assisted by Jamie Clark. Scugog came bck to tie the score at one at the 12:46 mark of the first period by David Gainey assisted by Aaron Levy. , After that all the scoring was done, by Tripp by Jeremy Pare who scored 2 goals assisted by Tyler Wootton, Tyler Wootton unassisted, Steven Martin from Tyler Wootton and Jamie Clark from Kevin Hill to make the score 6-1 for Tripp; thanks to the superb goaltending of Shane Savage.
