Her prize was almost $3,000 worth of Minolta camera equip- ment. With her new camera pack- agein tote, Mrs. Lackie decided she wasn't going to stay an oc- casional shutterbug, taking her camera out only to snap Jie- tures of her cat, her grandchil- dren or her vacations. - She decided to submerse her- self in the art of photography and now she constantly sees the world through the viewfind- er. . At the travel workshop, stu- dents attended classes between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. The afternoon was dedicated to applying the techniques. The exhibit is a collage of the interesting people, places and things Mrs. Lackie has come across. One photo that was creating a lot of conversation during an open house on Saturday, was a picture of a rhinocerouses rear- end. And Ralph Price commented on the rural feeling that Mrs. Lackie had captured in a photo of a farmer plowing a field.
