HOW DOES READERSHIP INCREASE AS YOU INCREASE THE SIZE OF THE AD? Increasing the size of an ad increases reader- ship dramatically. Above 36 column inches, the increase in readership flattens out, as there are fewer potential readers left to add (you've al- ready grabbed the attention of most readers with this size ad). The readers added by a large attention compelling size ad are more apt to be new prospects rather than current customers. |
