"A Family Tradition for 125 Years" Scugog Choral Society celebrates 15th season Getting ready for "Hello Dolly" By Shelley Diamond The Scugog Choral Society is getting ready to present this season's production, "Hello Dolly". This is a comedy-romance with wonderful music and lyr- ics by Jerry Herman and book by Michael Stewart. If you've never seen this play or the mo- vie version, the latest of which starred Barbara Streisand, you have a real treat in store! Dolly sets him up in more ways than one, for the schem- ing Mrs. Levi plans to land this catch for herself! A hilarious series of misadventures follows as Horace is "set up" with the local millineress, Mrs. Molloy (Barbara Bone). In the meantime, however, Mrs. Molloy and her assistant Miss Minnie Fay (Nancy Brown) are being courted by two of Mr. Vandergelder's clerks, Cornelieus Hackl (Gar- vin Farr) and Barnaby Tucker (Terry Paul). Another romance springs up between minor leads Ermengarde (Judy De- Koning) and Ambrose Kemper (Don Smith). - Between men in the closet, dance lessons, and much ver- bal maneuvering, a good time is had by all!
