Latest word suggest the Santa parade is a go, but Canada Day is still a little doubtful. We're sure the public would appreciate a scaled back version of Canada Day, rather than nothing at all. Thumbs Up to Rick Forbes and the staff down at Crabby Joe's who are doing their part to make sure Santa Claus comes to town again this fall. After an announcement by the Scu- gog Chamber of Commerce saying they might have to cancel the parade due to lack of funds, Rick offered to donate $1 from every meal on Monday nights to help offset the cost. Thumbs Down to the troubling reports that some residents have taken it upon themselves to target Scugog Township toads workers to take out their frustrations about the spring road conditions.
