Ruth met her future husband Gordon Muggeridge, a member of the permanent force army. The happy couple were married in 1948. Ruth has had a long and varied nursing career. She has been acamp nurse at Taylor-Stratten camp, and following her military nursing career worked for sixteen years as the company nurse for Columbia Records. Often we forget the silent minorities who played such a great asil role in the battles Canada has faced.
