Sulis For Seniors Spiros and Dimos Vovos, owners of Mr. Sub, Port Perry are at it again. The guys are holding their annual ‘Subs for Seniors’ day on Monday, June 3. The fundraiser, which began in 2009, was inspired by their mother, who lived in a nurs- ing home. In honour of her, the two young men. started “Subs For Seniors” to help give back to their community and the nursing home. . For one day, they donate $1 from every 12 inch sub and 50¢ from every six inch sub to the Com- munity Nursing Home. The money will be used for supplies, arts and crafts, entertainment and help pay for trips and outings for the seniors. Tickets are also on sale for a $5 donation ballot and a draw will be held on June 4, 10am. Prizes include Toronto Maple Leaf and Blue Jays tickets, around of golf at Oakridge Golf Course, Playsta- tion 3 and one of three Sony MP3 players. To date Spiro and Dimos have raised more than $20,175.
