PORTS HALL OF FAME 3x & Inductees to be honoured October 24 Four individuals and two teams will be honoured for accomplishments in their chosen sport later this month by the Township of Scugog and the Scugog Sports Hall of Fame Committee. This is the seventh year for this eagerly anticipated sporting event and inductees into the “Hall of Fame” will include residents who have excelled in a variety of sports ranging from hockey to water skiing. This year’s guest speaker will be one of Canada’s football legends, Russ Jackson. Mr. Jackson spent 12 years in the CFL, leading his team to three Grey Cup ’ championships. He will speak prior to the induction GARNET ceremony and also be available after for autographs.
