The letter read as follows: “Tam pleased to extend my warmest greetings to everyone marking the 115th anniversary of No. 41 Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps, one of the oldest such units in Canada. This special occasion provides an opportunity to reflect upon the proud history of the Port Perry High School Army Cadet Corps, part of the Canadian Cadet Organization, a national program administered by the Canadian Forces. The Corps gives young people with a love of Canada’s great outdoors a chance to take part in a variety of enriching ac- tivities that develop valuable life, work, and leadership skills, and connect cadets with their Canadian Heritage. T would like to commend the cadet instructor cadre of- ficers and other adult leaders of the program for working to develop attributes that will accompany cadets throughout their lives. I would also like to congratulate the cadets for earning the privilege of wearing the Royal Canadian Army Cadets badge. On behalf of the Government of Canada, I offer my best wishes for a memorable anniversary celebration and for every future success.” Stephen Harper “Ottawa 2013” The greeting comes with the upcoming #41 RC (Army) CC 115th anniversary formal gala.
