Farndale Gallery to exhibit a photographer’s view of Port Perry, “the hidden gem of North Durham” “Port Perry: The Hidden Gem of North Durham” will be the next exhibit at the Scugog Memorial Library. The exhibit features 30 giclée canvas photographs by photographer Jonathan van Bilsen. About to set off to Namibia, his 90th country, travel- ler Jonathan has pointed his lens at Scugog for this exhibition of local work. The show is 10 years in the making and features images taken for granted by most of us during our busy lives. Jonathan uses hi-resolution cameras and does his own canvas printing in his Mary Street studio. He has written nine books and travelled the world, but is extremely pleased to showcase local work. The exposition will be at the Kent Farndale Gallery in the Scugog Memorial Library, Port Perry and will be launched with a reception on September 6th at 2 p.m. The images will be on display until October 2nd.
