Thumbs down to Focus for incorrect impression given Dear Editor I would like to give a thumbs down to Focus on Scugog for the incorrect impression given by the photo depicting the newly renovated Blackstock Rec- reation Centre and the “small but enthusiastic crowd. who attended the opening”. In the photo there appears to be about five people. I attended the opening and I can attest to the fact that every table was full and more chairs had to be brought out to accommodate the extras who were in attendance. The community of Blackstock was totally sup- portive of the opening night. It is an excellent picture of the new facility but the opening sentence of the article did not give justice to the crowd in attendance. you, though, for being the only local media to cover the opening of our Recreation Centre and for recognizing the importance of this special occasion for our community.
