As a customer, we sometimes get frustrated waiting for an order — but most of these minimum wage employ- ees work their buns off trying to serve their customers quickly. So next time you order that coffee, donut or hamburg special, maybe a small tip would be in order. Or at the very least, give them a ‘thumbs up’. Thumbs Down -A local woman offers a ‘thumbs down’ to drivers going through the Simcoe St./Hwy 7A traffic lights, paying no attention to the “pedestrian walk signals”. Thumbs Down - Vandals strike again and this time in Caesarea where some thoughtless airhead defaced and vandalized the newly erected sign for the Cae- sarea Skate Park For Kids. “Township tax dollars go into cleaning it each and every time you choose to do this and we could have done something more worth- while with the monies spent for the community than on cleaning the sign,” says one resident. Thumbs Down - Arena users are expressing complete frustration and suggest a ‘thumbs down’ to those respon- sible for contracting the paving of the arena parking lot during the busiest time of the year. “Why wouldn't they have done it while it sat empty all summer,” they ask!
