Mackey Is Married' to Robert Ramsay Brooklyn, Sept. 9.--The United Church of Brooklin was the sceuv of a pretty wedding on Saturday when Laura - Kathleen Mackey, daughter 'of Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Mackey, of Brooklin, became the bride of Mr. Robert Ramsay Rich- ardson, son of Mrs. W. Elms and the late N. C, Richardson of Whit- by. Beautiful autumn flowers anda ferns graced the. church, and white ribbon marked the guest pews. The ceremony was con- ducted by Rev. P, L, Juli, pastor of Brooklin United Church. The wedding 'music was played by Mrs. H. L. Pascoe, aunt of the bride, and Miss Hilda Mackey, sis- ter of the bride, sang "Because," during the signing of the regis- ter. The bride, who was given' away by her father, wore a gown of lace and tulle. Her veil of white. tulle was fitted to her head in cap-like effect with a wreath of orange blossoms. . She carried a bouquet of sweetheart roses, lily of the valley and maiden hair fern, and wore a diamond dinner ring, the gift of the groom. The bridesmaid, Miss Adel Patton, of Toronto, wore a frock of pink dat in and tulle with a butterfly bow of green, and wore a mohair hat, and green shoes. She carried a bouquet of pink roses. The best man was Mr. Wm. Whittaker, of Cornwall, and the ushers were Mr. Norman Bennam and Mr. O. G. McCourt, of Toronto. After the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride's parents. Mrs. Mackey, mothér of the bride, received the guests with the bridal party. She wore 'a gown of black transparent velvet trimmed with rhinestones, and wore a black velour hat, with a corsage bouquet of dark red roses," Mrs. Elms, mother of the groom, who also received, wore a gown of green lace with a hat of Mack and a bouquet of dark red roses. Later the bride and groom left by motor for Montreal, where they will take a boat trip up the St. Lawrence and Saguenay Riv- er. For travelling the bride don- ned a blue ensemble, a fox fur, with a grey felt hat, and match- ing accessories... On their return they will reside at 708 Third Ave., Verdun, Montreal.
