In 1914 a build- ing was erected and a slumbing business founded, known as Lander's Plumbing Business. The business grew very rapidly and in February, 1919, Martin Libby and Murray Miller purchased the business from Mr. Lander and oherated} it from that date under the name of Miller & Libby, plumbers and steam fitters. The business under this management continued to expand and prosper as is shown by their labour statement: 1919, 1 Employee; 1923, 12 Employees; 1929, 26 Employees During the past year as many as forty-two men have been employed, at one time, by this firm. proving that the firm's growth has been an outstanding one.
