No changes of importance occurred in the alignment of the leaders, Nels Stewart retaining the lead in the Canadian division, . while Frankie Boucher of the Rangers, another centre-ice player, has a scant margin over "Cooney" Weiland, middle-ice man of Boston Bruins, and Bill Cook, another Ranger, the two latter being tied for second place. Stewart no longer holds undisputed sway as the leading goal-getter, for Weiland has tied him in actual goals scored. Each player has 22, but Weiland has 15 assists against 8 for Stewart, Boucher's high total is com- piled largely through his clever play- making, as he furnished assists in 22 instantes. Bill Cook has 18 goals and 19 asissts fo tie with Weiland. Joe Lamb of Ottawa leads the league in minutes spent on the pen- alty bench with 77, Eddie Shore of the Bruins, getting four minors in the game against Ottawa, went into sccond place with 74, while "Ching" Johnson of the Rangers has served 72 minutes, won his fight last These GALT LOSE TO BRANTFORD Galt, Jan. 21,--Bargain days in hockey continue to be the rule lo- cally, In the third overtime game here dn a week, the Terriers were nosed out by the Brantford In, dians, 56-4 in 10 minutes of extra play.
