As the bride and groom entered the room, they were greeted by a hearty burst of song by the assem- bled guests, 'Hello, Harold" "Hello, Minnie," with Mrs. C. A. Cowan at the plano, An address explaining the purpose f the gathering and expressing the ood will and esteem felt by their friends for Mr. and Mrs. Allin, was ead by Mr. W. J. 8. Rickard, after which the greatly surprised couple were presented with a handsome loor lamp, by Mr. C. A. Cowan, on behalf of the orchestra, and two heautifully upholstered wicker chaira yy Messrs. H. W. Cooke, and Howard Allin, on behalf of the others of the athering. The singing of "For He's a Jolly 1oed Fellow," was followed by "Give s a Speech" to which Harold made very suitable and grateful re- ponse. "What's the arold" was also sung.
