Mason expressed his thanks and apprecigtion to the meme bers of the club und regretted that he had not been able to devote more time to the Association, The first new business to be trans sacted was the enrollment of mem. bers for this year, There were thire ty~two members joined the Associa~ tion last night and it is known that many others have signified their in- tentions of joining, On behalf of the Alger Press, IK, Alger announced teat the Alger Press would donate a Cup to the club for competition, the trophy to go to the person get ting the largest brook trout during A season, H. Banks, prominent member of the Hamilton Anglers' Club gave a brief but very interesting talk on fishing and went into some detail on several of the endeavours of the Hamilton Club, in order to show just what the Oshawa = Association can do. Mr, Banks told of some very interesting experiences, The speaker also tendered some excellent advice to the members, Orme Gamsby, then favored the fishermen with another song. one of his own composing entitled "Orono." This song made a Lig hit with the gathering, Orme then told a few interesting stories of some of his ex« periences as a fisherman and of the fishing facilities around Orono. Af the conclusion of his address, Orme Gamsby was elected as an Honorary Member of the club A.
