Opens Today Today With We Work of Preparation Go. ing on in Anticipation of Record Crowds Attending Tomorrow and Thursday--All Exhibits Are Required | | to be in Place on First Day, So as to Have Big Show Complete for Opening to the Public Tomorrow The following are the general re gulations and rules for the Oshawa Fair, which is being held today, to morrow and on Thursday: 1, The Oshawa Fair will be held on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thurs day, Sept. 9, 10 and 11, 1930. Tues day is exhibitors' day only, Wed nesday and Thursday are show days 2. Competition will be open to all except when otherwise specified in the Prize List 3. The anni! membership fee will be $1.00, and each exhibitor must purchase a 'member's ticket before making entries, a registered firm be- ing regarded as one exhibit f. All persons desirous of enter ing stock, ete, for competition should make application to the Scretarv at least one week previous to the first day of the Fair 5, In the Horse, Cattle, Sheep and Swine Classes, the entry must in eve chants' exhibits must be in place on the grounds on Tuesday September Oth, 1930 by 6 p.m, and remain until the close of the Fair, All horses and cattle must be on the grounds by 12 and remain until the close of the Fair. Stalls for horses will be reserved in the order of applica. tion, while they last, for the horses entered for exhibition. No charge | will be made for stalls for any stock, space for poultry will be arranged by the Chairman in charge. Exhibi- tors are requested to make their en- tries early, Exhibitors will please be carchul to state the class and section in which they intend each different article to compete and to sign their names, and all entry fees must be paid to the Secretary when making entries. Donors of special prizes are re quested to pay the same only to the Secretary of the Society, who will pay over the same to those entitled thereto, Winners of such prizes, when the article is to he retained, must deliver the same to the person giving prizes, In specials, all weights, ete, must be stated.
