Maurice Dupre, to the Abbey of a suitable inscrip- tion upon the grave of Admiral Sir Charles Saunders, campanion- in-arms of General Wolfe, hero of Quebec. The Abbey choir sang the Can- adian Boat Song and led the con- gregation in singing, "0 Canada." The service was conducted by the Dean of Westminster, Very Rev. W. Foxley Norris. Asking the Dean 'to accept the inscription, Hon. Mr, Guthrie said: "At this distance we do not regard the conflict of the Plains of Abra- ham as a victory but rather as a great milestone in the annals of our country." | Admiral Sir Cyril Fulled was present on behalf of the Foyal Navy, General Sir Walter Braithe- faite represented the Army, and Major-General A.
